PURI: International famed sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has made a sand art at the Golden Sea beach of Puri, dedicating it for the cause of spreading, creating awareness, and for dignity of Oriya language.
Today’s youth is running after other languages, ignoring our mother language, which is the reason of degradation of our language.
At the Manas Sahoo Sand Art Park, international sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo, along with the sculpture of Sarala Das, has also made few arts of books pertaining to Puranas and Poems of Odisha to show respect to Odia language, to show its importance, and also to give an international recognition to our language.
“We are Oriya and our language is Oriya, and we are Odisha and we proud of our Oriya language. This special art is made by Sahoo for our dear Oriya language and for the event Sarala international language conference which is going to be held in Bhubaneswar,” sources said.
