BHUBANESWAR: On Monday, Madan Mohan Muduli, Former PEO-cum-VLW, Bhanjanagar Block, Dist-Ganjam (Retired), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(c)(d) PC Act,1988/406/420/120-B IPC, for showing undue official favour to an in genuine beneficiary in getting an IAY house, and thereby causing loss to the Govt., was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment *for a period of 2 years and fine of Rs.10,000/-.
Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Sri Madan Mohan Muduli, Former PEO-cum-VLW, Bhanjanagar Block, Dist-Ganjam (Retired) following his conviction.Detailed report follows.
