CUTTACK: A large number of people were on Thursday morning gathered at the historic Barabati Stadium here to purchase the offline tickets for the December 22 India-West Indies ODI encounter.
A total of 12 counters has been opened at the stadium to ensure smooth conduct of the sale and on December 20. Tickets will be sold from 9 am to 5 pm. A total of 10,050 tickets would be made available at the counters.
The prices of tickets for Gallery 1 and 3 is Rs 600, Gallery 2 and 4 is Rs 500, Gallery 6 and 7 is Rs 400, Gallery 6 (only for affiliated units) is Rs 200, Special Enclosure is Rs 3,000, New Pavilion is Rs 5,000, Corporate Box is Rs 8,000, A/C Box (Gallery 4) is Rs 5,000. Notably, 18 per cent GST would be charged on the tickets.
Cuttack Police have made elaborate security measures at the ticket counters and special attentions were paid to check black marketing of tickets.
