BHUBANESWAR: IMD –Bhubaneswar on Monday said that a cyclonic circulation lies over south Andaman Sea & neighbourhood and extends upto 3.1 km above mean sea level.
Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over southeast & adjoining eastcentral Bay of Bengal around 20th October.
It is likely to move westnorthwestwards towards west-central & adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal & become more marked during the subsequent 48 hours.
Seasonal cumulative rainfall realized between 1st October to 17th October 2022 is 117.4 mm against its normal value of 78.2 mm.
