BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief after hearing the news of the death of 3 people due to lightning in Duandihi village of Padmapur Khaliapally Gram Panchayat of Bargarh district and 2 people in Balangir district.
Expressing deep condolences to the bereaved families, he also announced ex-gratia assistance of Rs 4 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased.
Along with this, the Chief Minister Majhi directed the district administration to arrange proper medical treatment for the seriously injured and wished them a speedy recovery.
