BHUBANESWAR: This year’s famous Mahashivaratri festival of Shri Lingaraj Mahaprabhu will be held on the coming date 15.02.2026 Monday. Regarding this, Law, Excise and Works Minister Prithwiraj Harichandan attended the meeting held at the conference room of the Law Department in Lokseva Bhawan and discussed the responsibilities and related arrangements given to the servants, the administration of the temple and various government departments.
In the mentioned meeting, peaceful implementation of the principles of Lord Lingaraj, lifting of the Mahadeep at the right time, disciplined Darshan, giving importance to zero accidents, traffic management, cleanliness of surrounding roads, water and electricity etc, and also advised to observe Maha Shivaratri in a disciplined manner.
