KEONJHAR/BHUBANESWAR: Dr Dibyaranjan Majhi , the allegedly boyfriend 25-year-old doctor late Subhashree Kar, has been under scanner of Keonjhar police after the post-mortem report has indicated that she might have died due to poisoning. A seized poison bottle will be sent to the State Forensic Science Laboratory in Bhubaneswar.Keonjhar police have formed a special team to trace Dibyaranjan Majhi.
Dibyaranjan, who was working as a doctor with a mining company in Rugudi area of Keonjhar district, had then tendered his resignation citing that he was going to Bhubaneswar for his marriage.
Subhashree, of Cuttack and was working as Medical Officer, Urban PHC, Baneikala in Keonjhar, was found dead inside her house in Baneikala on January 1. She had accused Dibyaranjan Majhi of having physical relation with her on the promise of marriage and had taken up the issue with the Joda police on 20 December 2022 had also lodged. Dibyaranjan has not been brought under the purview of the investigation of the death case.
Subhashree mentioned in the complaint that she came in contact with Dibyaranjan, six years ago. He established physical intimacy with her at her residence here on September 18 and October 10 of 2022 on the pretext of marrying her, she had said in the complaint. Later, when she asked him to marry her, he allegedly refused to do so.
