CUTTACK/KORAPUT: DIGs of Odisha’s three Police ranges including Northern, South-Western and Southern, who was part of the SIT, on Monday submitted their reports to Odisha High Court over the Kunduli gang rape case.
The SIT team comprising DIGs Himanshu Lal, Shefeen Ahmed K and DIG Satyabrata Bhoi submitted the report before the HC panel in a sealed envelope.
Earlier, the HC had committed a three-member SIT team to probe the rape and suicide of Class IX girl of Kunduli area.
The 14-year-old Class IX girl of Kunduli area in Koraput district was allegedly raped by four ‘men in uniform’ while she was returning home from market on October 10, 2017. Later, the girl committed suicide by hanging herself on January 22, 2018.
