KORAPUT:  In a significant initiative to ensure the holistic development of students, parent and teacher meetings were organized across 2503 government and government-aided schools throughout Koraput district.

The meetings saw enthusiastic participation from parents, who engaged in discussions on vital topics such as student safety, responsible internet use, cyber security, cleanliness campaigns, and the importance of education for girls.

Other key issues addressed during the meetings included the launch of Surbhi 2024, the formation of youth and eco clubs in schools, and the Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao initiative. Emphasis was laid on the crucial role parents play in preventing dropouts and ensuring regular attendance.

The collaborative effort between the District Level Officers, Block Level Officers, and the Piramal Foundation for Education and Leadership team ensured the success of the parent-teacher meetings.

The team oriented Cluster Resource Center Coordinators (CRCCs) from 14 blocks, enabling them to facilitate productive discussions with parents.

The meetings demonstrated a remarkable display of parental enthusiasm, with attendees actively engaging in conversations aimed at fostering the all-round development of students.
