BHUBANESWAR: Director General of Police Sunil Bansal on Tuesday transferred the Jharsuguda district Superintendent of Police (SP) Rahul Jain to the police headquarters in Cuttack days after brutal gun attack on former Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das in Brajarajnagar.
The present SP of Bargarh Parmar Smit Parshottamdas has been transferred to Jharsuguda in place of Jain. Brajarajnagar SDPO Gupteswar Bhoi has also been transferred and attached to the State police headquarters here. Present SDPO of Athamalik in Angul district Chintamani Pradhan has been transferred as the SDPO of Brajarajnagar in place of Bhoi.
The SP of Boudh Prahalad Sahai Meena has been placed as SP of Bargarh and Additional SP of Rayagada Raj Prasad has been placed as SP of Boudh.
