BHUBANESWAR: After the implementation of the population control policy in 2001, TFR of population growth or the average fertility rate of couples has decreased from 3.4 to 1.9. But there are many imbalances in this population control. This is because the fertility rate of couples belonging to different religious communities varies significantly and other factors are, the increase in infiltration in border areas and unlawful religious conversions in various places. Due to which proper balance of population have not been maintained among different communities in the country. For which our country has been divided in the past and countries like Indonesia and Sudan have also suffered from territorial division due to such problem. Today India is a country of youth but after some years it will become a country of old people. Appropriate population policies should be adopted to prevent this unwarranted situation. These issues were discussed in detail in the meeting of Akhila Bharatiya karyakari Mandala.
The meeting was held for four days from October 16th to 19th at Gauhaniya, Prayagraj. Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sar Sanghachalak and Dattatreya Hoswale Sar karyabaha were present in the said meeting .Out of total number of 379, 372 members from all over India have participated . From Odisha out of 14, 13 participated.
In this meeting, emphasis was given to impart education in mother tongue in schools as per new education policy. The youths have been encouraged to become self-reliant instead of running after employment. Its impacts have been realised in the country as well. Because in 2014, the number of start-ups in our country was 500 but now the number has been increased more than 60,000.
According to the report received , the number of daily Sakhas increased by 6,000, the weekly Sakhas by 4,000 and the monthly Sakhas by 1,800 as compared to the figure of last year.At Present there are 61,045 daily Sakhas, 22,077 weekly Sakhas and 9,071 monthly sakhas operating across the country. There are 1,390 daily Sakhas, 304 weekly Sakhas and 84 monthly Sakhas also operating in Odisha. In last 4 years, 6,00,000 youths have requested to join the Sangha through ‘Join RSS’. There are 23,000 women among them.
By the year 2025, on the eve of the centenary of RSS, a call has been given for 4,000 Satawdi Bistarak to come forward from all over the country. Till date, 3,000 Satabdi Bistarak have been joined. Out of which 37 belongs to Odisha.
During the corona crisis, the Sangha has continued its sewa work and involved in promoting many social work through various organisations in all states including Odisha.
The Sangha is making efforts to increase the participation of women in all sectors of the country. The people of tribal communities in the states like Meghalaya, Tripura and North-Eastern states want to join the Sangha for protection of their indigenous religion as a part of their self-awakening and for this they are also inviting Sarasanghachalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat to their states .
At the beginning of the meeting, a proposal of condolence was passed for late leaders and eminent persons of the country . Tributes were also paid to late Padmashi Dr. Rajat Kara, Jayanti Patnaik, Vishnu Sethi, Manoranjan Patra, Binapani Mohanty and Panu Majhi of Odisha.In today’s press conference, Dr. Gopal Prasad Mahapatra , Kshetra Karyabaha and sri Sumanta kumar panda, Saha Prachar pramukh were also present..
