BHUBANESWAR: Hours after a FIR against her, Actress Varsha Priyadarshi took to twitter and shared written post refuting all allegations made against her. Actress Varsha Priyadarshi wrote “whatever I am doing till today, it’s for your cooperation from you all but since 2020, efforts were being made to tarnish my image in public and overpower me,”
‘I have strong faith on Lord Jagannatha , and basing faith and hope, I never bow down and will not do in future. Truth always wins, it will be proved again,’ she wrote.
‘News are being aired without valid truth, which is very unfortunate. I have deeply hurt on allegations levelled and coming against me,’ she said.
‘I will take legal against those who are spreading lies and hatching conspiracy against me. Time and again, i am saying , I am common man with due transparancy, involved in social service. i will not bend before any hurdle put against me, I will continue my work, seeking belssing of all,,” she concluded.
Earlier , Police have started a probe into an FIR filed at Sahid Nagar Police Station against actress and estranged wife of Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty, Varsha Priyadarshini for dumping a woman of Rs 30,000 promising for her a job at a Jewellery shop.
The complainant, identified as Kalyani Nayak of Saheed Nagar area. She alleged that Varsha and her aide Ayushi Priyadarshini cheated her. Based on the complaint, Saheed Nagar police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter. The actress is yet to make any comments on the matter.
Ayushi promised me with a job in a prominent jewellery shop in the Janpath area here with the help of Varsha and asked me to give Rs 50,000 to the actress for it, she alleged adding she paid around Rs 30,000 to the accused. However, the actress stopped responding to her calls after the incident, the woman alleged.
