BHUBANESWAR: Renowned Journalist Kishore Dwibedi has been conferred Fourth Seva Ratna Samman. The Prestigious Award presented to Shri Dwibedi by Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Sujeet Kumar in a ceremony at Utkal Rangamancha Auditorium in G.K.M Odissi Research Centre. Instituted by Jai Maa Bhawani Charitable Trust, Saheed Nagar, Shri Dwibedi has been chosen for this coveted honour for his commendable contributions in the field of Journalism and Social Service.
Based in New Delhi, Kishore Dwibedi has had a career in Journalism for last Thirty Seven years. Shri Dwibedi has the unique privilege of serving three leading Odia Dailies Samaja, Sambad and Prajatantra as their New Delhi Bureau Chief. He has been a Member of Press Advisory Committee of Lok Sabha for Five terms. Shri Dwibedi has recently been elected as Chairman of Newly formed World Odisha Society. He is also the Founder Chairman of Vande Utkal Foundation and Founder President of Delhi Odisha Journalists’ Association.
Other prominent Awardees include Comedy Star Tatwa Prakash Satpathy ( Pappu Pom Pom), Telefilm Director Manas Parida, Daitapati of Sri Mandir Kirti Das , Noted Electronic Media Editor Swadhin Rout, Dr. Sandip Das, Dr. Surjya prakash Chowdhury, Dr. Alok Kanungo, famous Litterateur Bishnu Mohan Mohanty, Celebrated Poet Dr. Suba Das and Manasi Prusti.
Noted Scholar Rajat Kar attended the Award presentation ceremony as Guest of Honour. Speaking during the occasion President of Host institution Jai Maa Bhawani Charitable Trust Dr Narayan Mohapatra reiterated that the Trust’s solemn commitment is to provide quality service and care to the hapless and suffering senior citizens of the society.
