BHUBANESWAR:At Dadhimachhagadia Chhak on NH-16, under the jurisdiction of Sadar Police Station, Khordha Police intercepted a pick-up van (Regd. No. OD 05 Y 6808) and an Eicher truck (Regd. No. KA 07 B 7453) transporting 𝟮𝟬 𝗕𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗲𝘀 illegally.
During the enforcement action, police aarrested two (02) accused drivers, identified as V. Kumar and Suresh Das, for their involvement in the illegal transportation. Both were arrested and forwarded to the Hon’ble Court of SDJM, Khordha for further legal proceedings.
All rescued buffaloes have been safely shifted to the Gosala.
Khordha Police remain vigilant in curbing illegal livestock transportation and ensuring strict action against violators.
