BHUBANESWAR: Khordha Police have put in place comprehensive security and traffic arrangements for the visit of Sri Mohan Charan Majhi, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, to Banpur on 07 January 2026. The Hon’ble Chief Minister will attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of Godabarisha Mishra Adarsha Prathamika Vidyalaya at Paltan Padia, Banpur, and address a large public gathering.IG,CR Dr Satyajit Naik along with I/c SP,Khordha briefed the police force in Banpur.
Elaborate arrangements have been made covering VIP security, venue protection, crowd management, access control, traffic regulation, and route lining. Special focus has been given to smooth public movement and maintaining law and order, considering the expected turnout of over 5,000 people.
Adequate police deployment, anti-sabotage measures, medical facilities, fire services, and traffic diversions have been arranged to handle any contingency. Senior officers are personally supervising the arrangements.
Khordha Police request the public to cooperate with security personnel and follow traffic advisories to ensure a peaceful and successful programme.
