BHUBANESWAR: Khordha Industrial Estate P.S Case No. 190 Dated 25.08.2024 u/s 191(2)(3)/296/351(2)/324(5)/103(2) BNS . Informant :-Md. Mohatarm , S/O Md. Ayub of Vill.- Mukundaprasad, P.S.- Industrial Estate, Dist.- Khordha. Place of occurrence – Near Aktar Garage , Chachara Sabarsahi, Jatani Bypass.
Brief Facts:
During investigation of the above murder case a total of 4 teams were formed under the overall supervision of DIG Khordha. One Evidence team was analysing the spot and available evidence in the case and three teams were conducting raids in the neighbouring area and within the District. After sustained raids on the basis of intelligence the accused are apprehended today on 27.8.2024 from Anda Bajpur cashew plantation under Sadar PS . The Motorcycle and swords used in the crime have been seized.
The accused had hidden the weapon of offence and wearing apparels in an Old beer factory on the way to Taraboi on the Khordha Puri road which was also recovered.
Interrogation reveal that due to previous enmity the three accused persons Mikina, Timar and Akash were searching for an opportunity to take revenge on Md. Sajid.
Accordingly, on 25.08.24 around 12 PM as per their plan Biswajit Moharana @ Mikina of Podasahi asked Sajid to come near Carmel School for the purpose of discussing some business matter.
While Sajid arrived at the open field near Carmel school he panicked after founding Mukesh and Akash to be there along with Mikina and tried to return back. But the culprits detained him and assaulted him by means of sword near Aktar garage. Sajid in an attempt to save his life entered inside the garage, but the above culprits chased him inside the garage and dealt fatal blows by means of sword. They also damaged his scooter and left the spot.
Seizure :-
- One Hero Honda splendor blue colour motorcycle used by the accused Persons.
- Two nos of swords used by the culprits to commit murder.
- Wearing apparels of the accused
- One mobile phone of accused
- OLA Scooter of deceased seized from the spot.
- Other biological samples and wearing apparel of deceased
