BHUBANESWAR: Khordha I.E P.S Case No. 11 dt.04.12.2023,U/S-21(b)/29 NDPS Act R.W/sec-25/25(6)(7) Arms Act.
Informant :- Complaint. Basudev Jayasingh (37), S/O-Brajabandhu Jayasingh of village Pimpal, PS-Ranpur, Dist-Nayagarh, A/P-SI of Police, I/C, I.E PS, Khordha.Place of occurrence : – At Barunei Jungle (Near Maa Barunei Jungle)
Date of occurrence:- On 04.12.20223 at about 12.30 PM
Gist of FIR : On dt.04.12.2023 at 8.30 AM on receipt of credible information as per the direction of Sidhartha Kataria, SP Khordha under the supervision of Sri Dillip Kumar Das , SDPO Khordha formed a team headed by SI-B.Jayasingh along with SI-Sasmita Behera, I/C, I.E PS, Khordha, ASI-B.Sethi , OAPF/33-Baman Kanhar, C/-546-S.Chhotaray , OAPF/37-Bijay Kanhar and OAPF/18-Ranjan Pradhan proceeded to the spot near Maa Barunei Temple (Barunei Jungle ) and apprehended the accused persons as 1.Chandan Nayak aka Balua(28),S/O-Basanta Nayak of village Gada Khordha, H.B Colony, PS-I.E ,Dist-Khordha, 2.Faruk Khan(26),S/O-Satara Khna ,VillageMakund Prasad, PS-I.E PS,Dist-Khordha, 3.M.Ramesh Reddy(23),S/O-M.Srinu Reddy of village gora Kabar ,Lane, station Road, Puri and Mano Ranjan Pradhan(32) , S/O-Lt.Padma charan Pradhan of village Kamarasahi, Kamaguru, PS-Jankia, Dist-Khordha .
Police seized 20 grams brown sugar and one 7 mm Pistol and 2 nos. of live cartridges from accused Chandan Nayak aka Balua and Faruk Khan on the spot. During the raid accd Lipun Khatei, Prasant, Dharama, Baya, Salak and other accused persons fled away from the spot by taking an opportunity of bushy jungle.
Seizure :- 20 grams brown sugar and one 7 mm Pistol and 2 nos. of live cartridges from the accused Chandan Nayak aka Balua and Faruk Khan.
