BHUBANESWAR: Khandagiri PS case No-860, dt.09.12.24, U/s- 318(4)/126(2)/115(2)/109(1)/351(2)/3(5) BNS.PO: Bhaktamadhu Nagar, Lane-3, PS- Khandagiri, BBSR UPD.
On 09.12.2024 at 11.07 PM the complt. Kalyani Dash of Airport Colony, PS- Airport, Bhubaneswar UPD alleging that, accused Sadananda Behera (51), S/o- Late Aparti Behera of Talatumba, PS- Begunia, Dist- Khorda assured her to provide MUDRA loan of amount Rs.5,00,000/- with in a very short period of time as money is highly required for study of her daughter. But the alleged accused Sadananda Behera demanded Rs.50,000/- as gratification money for official’s of Bank. Accordingly the compit paid Rs.35,000/- in Phonepay and Rs.15,000/- in cash to Sadananda Behera.
In the meantime 06 months has already passed but not a single money is credited by bank to the account of complaint. On 09.12.2024 as per commitment of alleged accused Sadananda Behera regarding repayment of outstanding dues, complaint along with her two brothers namely Santosh Ratha and Lalit Mohan Dash were proceeded to the house of alleged accused for collection of outstanding money.
Then the alleged accused Sadananda Behera has transferred Rs.8,000/- only to the complt’s account. When the complaint. demanded the rest outstanding Rs.42,000/-, at that time Sadananda Behera and other associates assaulted them with an intention to kill in life. For which, the complt’s brother Santosh Rath has sustained injury over his back, leg, head etc. All the accused persons has used slangs language to complaint and her brothers .
During investigation, the accused Sadananda Behera has been arrested and forwarded to the court today.Further investigation is going on.
