KENDRAPARA: Kendrapara Zone-8 Zilla Parishad Member and senior women wing leader of ruling BJD, Jyotsnarani Jena visited several Quarantine Centres in Kendrapara and took stock of the situation. She talked to officials about the arrangements are being in put in place for the outside returnees.
Jena, who is also a Planning Member of Kendrapara Zilla Parishad, visited Ahyaba, Purostampur,Kansar and Kalapada GPs and Hoithiba Isolation Centre. Local Sarpanchs including Kalapada’s Nityananda Sethy, Kansar’s Pradyumna Jena, Ahyba’s Gagan Samal, Purosatampur’s Ramesh Sahani & Ex- Vice Chairman Kendrapada Block – Ajaya Mohanty , Ex- Sarpanch of Kalapada , Sudhir Swain, Ex-Sarpanch Amiya Mallick of Kansara and Social worker- Ganesh Nayak, Prakash Samal, Pravat Swain, Nalin Jena,Himansu Lenka, Ramesh Sethy, Rabindra Swain, Nalu Panda, Daitari Mallick, Prasanta Swain, Bharat Biswal, Bhagabat Pal,Prahalad Rout & Others were among those present and discussed about various facilities. Jena also met Kendrapara BDO and Tehsildar about this issue.
Earlier, Jena had donated 5 months’ salary to CMRF for the COVID-19 relief work.“As a Zilla Parishad and planning Member of Kendrapara it’s my duty to reach out to locals in this humanitarian crisis and I have been frequently visiting various Panchayats under my Zone-8 and with close coordination with local Sarpanchs, Samiti members, Ward members and Blocks officials , things are moving very smoothly,” Jena added.
