CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: Under the initiation and guidance of BJD Lok Sabha MP, from Kendrapara, Anubhav Mohanty, Paradip Port Trust (PPT) provides an ICU Ambulance and Oxygen Concentrators for the Mahanga and Salipur Assembly Constituencies of Cuttack District.

In order to supplement the efforts of Odisha Government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, PPT donated an ICU Ambulance and Oxygen Concentrators that was initiated and guided by MP Anubhav Mohanty for the Mahanga and Salipur Assembley Constituencies of Cuttack District.
As the second wave of COVID-19 sweeps throughout the Nation, the number of patients requiring ICU Ventilators and Oxygen is rising sharply. As requested by MP Mohanty, PPT Management provided an ambulance with Basic Life Support (BLS) and Oxygen Concentrators as a CSR initiative to Bhabani Shankar Chayani, OAS(SAG), Collector, Cuttack. This will strengthen the connectivity of patients at Mahanga, Nischintakoili, Salipur & Tangi CHC to a great extent by facilitating transportation. Apart from this, Paradip port trust has also assured to provide one Oxygen Plant facility and one more ambulance for Kendrapara District within few days only.
As per request of MP Mohanty, Port Users under the aegis of PPT like M/s. JSPL, M/s. Chennai Radha & M/s. Ocean Sparkle Ltd. have already provided 9 Oxygen Concentrators to the Collector, Cuttack for Covid management in the district.
These are tough times and we all need to come out and work together to provide relief to people. “I am thankful to PPT for accepting my request and providing the ambulance and oxygen concentrators. I assure that under the dynamic leadership of CM Naveen Patnaik , we will continue to ramp up our medical infrastructure to ensure people get the best treatment,” MP Mohanty added.
