KENDRAPARA/BHUBANESWAR: With fresh 13 cases from Kendrapara, the Odisha’s coatal district has taken its COVID-19 tally to 22. Earlier, the district reported 9 cases, of which 2 recovered while 20 active. With this, Odisha’s tally reached at 624. Rajkanika block reported 1st COVID-19 case.
The new cases have been identified as Surat returnees. They were living in quarantine centres of Mahakalpara, Kendrapara and Rajkanika blocks of the district. All of them have been shifted to hospital.
Sources said 13 cases included aged between 26 to 45, 1 from Rajkanika, 3 from Kendrapara and 9 from Mahakalpada and all were returned from Surat of Gujrat.
