BHUBANESWAR: On Tuesday, Additional Special Judge, Vigilance, cum ADJ-3, Bhubaneswar pronounced the judgement in TR No-56/2012,arising out of Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case No-11/2010 and CONVICTED the accused persons namely Kartikeswar Padhy Assistant Engineer, Pramod Kumar Sethy, Junior Engineer both are of Bhapur Block, District of Nayagarh under section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) P.C.Act,1988,/468/471/420/120-B IPC.
The convict are sentenced to undergo RI for three years for each section and to pay fine of Rs.20,000/- each section , in default to undergo R.I for six months in each offences. They are also sentenced to undergo RI for four months and a fine of Rs. 5000/- each, i.d. to undergo RI for two months each for the offence U/s120-B of IPC.
They are also sentenced to undergo RI for three years and a fine of Rs.20,000/- each for the offence U/s 13(2) ofP.C Act,.All the sentences are to run concurrently. Another accused Krushna Chandra Kanhar VLW absent today for which hon,ble court was pleased to pass warrent/NBW/A against him, said Kamadev Tripathy , Special P P(Vigilance) Bhubaneswar.
