BHUBANESWAR:Kalinga Sena is going to celebrate its foundation day on November 7th, and a preparatory meeting was held today. The meeting, chaired by Sena Chief Hemant Rath, was attended by party officials from 21 organizational districts and workers.
The meeting agreed to celebrate the foundation day with a grand ceremony, while on this occasion, like every year, this year too, the Kalinga Ratna Award will be given to one person who has made a special contribution to the development of Odisha and Oriya, along with the Madhi Award to eminent persons from various sectors of the society and representatives of the media.
It has been decided to finalize the names of the individuals to be awarded with unanimous consent soon. Along with this, Professor Ashok Nayak has been given the responsibility of the party’s general secretary and national spokesperson. Sena Supremo Shri Rath informed that Shri Nayak will now speak to the media on various issues of the national and state level on behalf of the party.
The meeting discussed in detail various issues of the state, especially the strategy to be adopted by the party in the coming days. In this meeting, General Secretaries Vijay Raj, Baradakant Mohanty, Organizational Secretary Sanjay Pradhan, Umakant Jena, Lakshmi Mohapatra, Monalisa Biswal, Sameer Pradhan, Biswajit Patra, Pramod Nayak expressed their views on the party’s agenda.
