Kalinga Sena Foundation Day-Kalinga Sena dedicated to Odias: Hemanta Rath

BHUBANESWAR:The regional political party Kalinga Sena has always been dedicated to Odisha and the Odias. The party will continue its relentless efforts for the interests of the state and the people of the state, said Kalinga Sena Supremo Hemant Rath while celebrating the party’s foundation day today. Mr. Rath said that as a regional party, Kalinga Sena has been working for the interests of the state and the people of the state for more than two decades.

The party is working to make Odisha self-reliant in all fields including employment of Odia youth, increasing the income of farmers. The meeting organized on the occasion of the foundation day was attended by party secretaries Ashok Sahu, Sameer Pradhan, secretaries Monalisa Biswal, Madhusudan Sahu, general secretaries Sarbashree Barda Kant Mohanty, Laxmi Narayan Mohapatra, Eng Manoj Kumar Nayak, general secretaries and mouthpiece Amulya Kumar Nayak, vice-president Abdul Qayum Khan. Himanshu Nayak and Umakant Jena, the leaders, expressed their views on making the Kalinga Sena stronger in the coming days.

On the foundation day, like every year, this year also, the successful personalities of the Kalinga Sena media were felicitated. Among them, Jagannath Women Sankirtan Sangam of Nandankanan, Ishaneshwar Sankirtan Sangam of Niladri Bihar were felicitated by the party, while among the media personalities, Sarbashree Bhasma’s photo journalist Bibhuti Sahu, Taikir Santosh Kumar Panda, Samaj’s photo journalist Tikan Biswaranjan Mishra, Nuyaj-18’s Nirupma Behera, Priyaya Jawar editor Raj Kishore Das, social worker Durga Shankar Mahapatra were felicitated. Professor Ashok Kumar Nayak gave the welcome speech, while the stage was managed by the party’s general secretary and mouthpiece Sumant Kumar Swain. Sena’s general secretary Vijay Kumar Raj proposed the vote of thanks.

Sanjay Kumar Pradhan, the organization’s editor, led hundreds of Kalinga soldiers in a grand procession from Bhubaneswar railway station to the meeting venue. Finally, the cultural program of Paik Akhada, Odissi and folk art performances was conducted by editor Monalisa Biswal.
