NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Senior Advocate Sanjay Kumar Mishra was on Friday appointed as a Judge, in Orissa High Court.
“In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 and clause (l) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to appoint Judges/Additional Judges of High Court Judges,’ an official communication said.
Justice Mishra has completed B.Com.(Hons.) from Rajendra College, Bolangir in 1982 and did his M.Com. and LL.B. from Delhi University in 1984.
In March 1988 joined the profession and started practice in Bolangir District Courts. He also worked as District & Sessions Judge, Sundergarh, Dhenkanal, Special Judge (CBI), Bhubaneswar and joined as Registrar General of Orissa High Court.
