BHUBANESWAR: The Justice Biswanath Rath committee proposes to open Ratna Bhandar on July 14. Justice Rath chaired a meeting regarding this in Puri on Tuesday, where SJTA Chief Administrator, Vir Vikram Yadav, Puri Collector Sidharth Shankar Swain, SP Pinaki Mishra and members of the Commitee also attended.
The Panel said, it required approval of Odisha Government for the doing the needful . The State Government had constituted a 16 members new Committee to decide the matter. The Committee had earlier met at Puri on this issue.
New committee constituted under the Chairmanship of Justice Biswanath Rath, which has 15 other members including Dr CBK Mohanty, CA Rajib Sahu, Ex IAS Jagadish Mohanty, Ex IPS Prakash Mishra, Swami Pragyananda Ji, Harihar Hota, Padmashree Sudarsan Pattanaik, Representative of Gajapati Maharaj, Representative of ASI, Madhu Sudan Singhari, Janardan Pattajoshi Mohapatra, Jagannath Das Mohapatra, Soumendra Muduli, SJTA Chief Administrator and Collector Puri as its members.
The Odisha government had earlier dissolved the committee constituted by previous BJD government headed by Justice Arijit Pasayat for opening of Ratna Bhandar of Jagannath Temple.
