BHUBANESWAR: On Wednesday, Bidhu Prasad Behera, Junior Assistant, O/o BEO, Bhuban, Dist-Dhenkanal has been apprehended by Odisha Viglance while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.5000/- from a Complainant (Teacher) in order to sanction her pending medical bills related to cancer treatment.
In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No. 24 dt. 5.04.2022 U/s 7 PC (Amend) Act, 2018 has been registered. Following trap, the house of Sri Behera located at Barada (Gondia) and office room (BEO) at Bhuban, Dist. Dhenkanal are being searched.Investigation in progress.
