JSW Steel renovated Kalinganagar Park in Jajpur, Minister Pritiranjan Gharai pays a visit

JAKHAPURA/BHUBANESWAR: The Kalinganagar Park, located in Kalinganagar Industrial Complex near Jakhapura in Jajpur district, has got a huge facelift. JSW Steel recently renovated the Park which was kept lying unkempt for over 2 decades.

Honourable Minister of Rural Development, Skill Development & Technical Education, Government of Odisha, Shri Pritiranjan Gharai visited the park on Friday. He thanked JSW Steel for undertaking the renovation of the park and taking up various CSR work in the area.

Post laying of its underground slurry pipeline, JSW Steel renovated the park with attractive lawns, entrance gate, pavers bloc footpath and sitting benches. A statue of legendary Biju Patnaik also adorns the Park.

Speaking on this occasion, Shri Ashesh Padhy, Head- Odisha Projects, JSW Steel, said “Guided by vision of our Chairman, Shri Sajjan Jindal, JSW Steel is committed to the betterment of the community. The proposed Mega Steel Plant at Paradip and the ongoing Slurry pipeline project is dedicated to the people of Odisha”.

Sarpanch of Jakhapura, Shri Raja Samal, Senior leader, Shri Dilip Nayak were among the dignitaries present on the occasion.

Mr Sudeep Dey, Associated Vice President, Slurry Pipeline of JSW Steel and other company officials were present on the occasion. The minister also visited the Jagannath temple at Jakhapura where JSW Steel is undertaking renovation work.
