PARADIP/BHUBANESWAR: Reiterating its commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in Odisha, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) has expressed its interest to build a Container Manufacturing Unit at Paradip. Chairman of JSPL Naveen Jindal in a visit to Paradip Port discussed about the project, which will be the first of its kind in Odisha.
This will be a port-based Container Manufacturing Unit and will be built over 100 acres of land. It is learnt that the port authorities have agreed to provide 100 acres of land, required for this.
Accompanied by a team of senior officials Jindal had a meeting with Authorities of Paradip Port Trust and also discussed about JSPL’s proposal for a dedicated railway freight corridor from Angul to Paradip. He also visited various other facilities of Paradip Port.
