BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal on Saturday wished his mother Savitri Jindal, who was also a former Haryana Minister, on her Birth Day. Born on March 20, 1950, Savitri Jindal turned 71.

Savitri Jindal was a Minister in Haryana Government and member of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) from Hisar constituency. She lost the seat in elections held in 2014 for the Haryana assembly. She became the chairperson after her husband, O.P. Jindal, who died in a helicopter crash in 2005.
