JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal Remembers Vijay Diwas , Pays Rich Tribute to Martyrs

NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former 2 times Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal on Wednesday paid rich tribute to Indian Armed Forces, who made their supreme sacrifice during the 1971 victory against Pakistan marking Vijay Diwas.

“On the 50th anniversary of Vijay Diwas, we salute the spirit and valour of our armed forces heroes who valiantly defended the motherland and led us to victory in the 1971 war. Homage to those who made the supreme sacrifice. #JaiHind #VijayDiwas,” JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal tweeted @MPNaveenJindal.

The Pakistan army surrendered to Indian forces unconditionally when General Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi with 93,000 troops surrendered to India. The war lasted just 13 days from December 4 to 16. It is also known as the Bangladesh Liberation War, 1971.
