NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former MP, Naveen Jindal, who is also Chairman of Flag Foundation India, on Saturday remembered Netaji Subash Bose on his Birth Anniversary and recalled 17th anniversary of the historic Supreme Court Judgement that gave all Indians the fundamental right to display the National Flag freely with respect and dignity on all days of the year.
“Good morning everyone. Warm greetings on the 17th anniversary of the historic Supreme Court Judgement that gave all Indians the fundamental right to display the National Flag freely with respect and dignity on all days of the year,” JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal tweeted @MPNaveenJindal.
“Jan 23, incidentally, is #NetajiSubhasChandraBose ’s birthday. As we commemorate his 125th birth anniversary as #ParakramDivas, we recall, with gratitude, the supreme sacrifice made by Netaji and other freedom fighters for the cause of our beloved Tiranga Flag of India & our motherland,” Naveen Jindal tweeted @MPNaveenJindal.
“Today, as we pay rich tributes to #Netaji , we also renew our commitment to the National Flag and vow to champion the values of national unity, brotherhood and amity that the TirangaFlag of India epitomises. Jai Hind!,” Jindal tweeted.
“It’s the day we earned the right to proudly display our National Flag in our homes, offices, etc, with respect and dignity after a decade long legal struggle. What was earlier a “Government Flag”, the Tricolour thus became well and truly every Indian’s after the verdict. The Tricolour subsumes identities based on religion, ethnicity, region, caste and language, and unites the Indians. Whether in good times or when faced with challenges, the National Flag remains every Indian’s pride and source of inspiration,” JSPL Chairman added.
