JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal Hails Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh SP Santosh Singh

BHUBANESWAR/JHARSUGUDA: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and senior Congress leader Naveen Jindal has lauded the efforts of Raigarh Police in Chhattisgarh neighbouring Odisha, particularly SP Santosh Singh, an young IPS officer, in celebrating Rakha Bandhan in a noble way.

Raigarh Police in a tweet had posted in Hindi which reads “#एक_रक्षासूत्र_मास्क_का.रायगढ़ पुलिस की महत्वकांक्षी मुहिम को SP @SantoshSinghIPS  ने दिखाई हरी झंड़ी.“जन सहयोग से प्राप्त 12 लाख मास्क, वितरण के लिये डिस्पेच सेंटर थाना/चौकियों के लिये रवाना

It may be noted here that, besides, Odisha and Jharkhand, JSPL, is being run by Naveen Jindal ,part of $25 Billion O.P Jindal Group, and an industrial powerhouse with a dominant presence in steel, power, mining and infrastructure sectors, running an integrated steel plant at Raigarh in Chhattisgarh, which has a steel-making capacity of 3.6 MTPA, a blend of iron-making capacities spread over a 2.125 MTPA Blast Furnace and a 1.32 MTPA DRI plant makes it one of the world’s largest coal-based Sponge Iron manufacturing facility.

A distinctive feature of the plant is its 2.35 MTPA finished steel making capacity, which includes India’s first and only Head hardened Rail manufacturing facility, equipped to manufacture single piece rails of upto 121 meter length. The Steel Melting Shop is amongst the few installations in the world using Zero-Power New Electronic Oxygen Furnace. The plant has an installed 354 MW captive power plant (CPP) at Raigarh and a 540 MW CPP at Dongamauha, district Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
