NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former 2times Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal on Monday wished Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on his birthday. Born on August 23, 1961, Chief Minister Baghel turned 60. He has been member of legislative assembly five times from Patan.

Apart from OP Jindal Universality, JSPL’s Raigarh plant is the world’s largest coal-based sponge iron manufacturing facility in the world, with up to 3.6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) steel production capacity. JSPL owns and operates combined power generation capacities of 5049 MW including the 3400 MW O.P. Jindal Super Thermal Power complex at Tamnar, Chhattisgarh. Since its inception, a 6.9 km long cross-country conveyor belt (the second-longest in Asia), was installed to feed coal to the plant.
Equipped with in-house Design & Engineering and Quality Assurance facilities, JSPL’s heavy machinery division in Raipur has expanded its manufacturing capacity & capabilities to meet critical requirements of all the customers. The division has ISO:9001:2015, ISO:14001:2015 & OHSAS18001:2007 & ISO 50001:2011 certification.
