JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal Greets Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel on Birth Day

NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former 2times Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal on Monday wished Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on his birthday. Born on August 23, 1961, Chief Minister Baghel turned 60. He has been member of legislative assembly five times from Patan.

It may be noted here that, JSPL Group and its visionary founder Shri OP Jindal has had close bonding with the people of Chhattisgarh, and present Chairman Naveen Jindal too following  his visionary father’s footsteps to serve the people of this Central Indian State.

Apart from OP Jindal Universality, JSPL’s Raigarh plant is the world’s largest coal-based sponge iron manufacturing facility in the world, with up to 3.6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) steel production capacity. It has an installed 299 MW captive power plant (CPP) at Raigarh and a 540 MW CPP at Dongamauha, district Raigarh in Chhattisgarh.

JSPL owns and operates combined power generation capacities of 5049 MW including the 3400 MW O.P. Jindal Super Thermal Power complex at Tamnar, Chhattisgarh. Since its inception, a 6.9 km long cross-country conveyor belt (the second-longest in Asia), was installed to feed coal to the plant.

Equipped with in-house Design & Engineering and Quality Assurance facilities, JSPL’s heavy machinery division in Raipur has expanded its manufacturing capacity & capabilities to meet critical requirements of all the customers. The division has ISO:9001:2015, ISO:14001:2015 & OHSAS18001:2007 & ISO 50001:2011 certification.

Jindal Industrial Park is India’s first Industrial Estate in private sector developed in Raigarh District in Chhattisgarh. It is spread across 800 acres and has been designed with a vision to develop the backward areas of Raigarh and create more job opportunities for the underprivileged.
