BHUBANESWAR: Executive Vice-President (Mines) of Jindal Steel and Power (JSP), Sanjeev Das was on Tuesday bereaved as his mother Nilima Das Burma passed away at 81. Her Son, JSP Executive VP (Mines) Sanjeev Das shared this sad news on social media.
Family sources said, she demonstrated extreme courage conviction and self believe while battling the dreaded disease and accepted to be operated at the age of 81 without fear or complacency and finally passed away at 81.
She was a very household name in Baramunda Colony in Bhubaneswar, FCI Talcher society Durgapur and Kolkata, sources said.
‘With grief i wish to inform that we lost my beloved mother yesterday. She demonstrated extreme courage conviction and self believe while battling the dreaded disease and accepted to be operated at the age of 81 without fear or complacency.She lived a life of dedication, supreme sacrifice for family and the destitute, with love for less privileged,’ Das said
‘A life of fulfilment with demonstrated love and extreme ownership ,like all mothers of the world she had her unflinching devotion to her duty and compassion to the society she was part of, whether it is the Baramunda Colony at Bhubaneswar or the colony of FCI Talcher or the society in Durgapur or Kolkatta, she had always demonstrated the manifested form of world as a larger family. She left us for a better world that she deserves with her karma . She left idealism which is imbibed and the principles of Basudeba kutumbakam deeply rooted. My obeisance to the great soul. May her soul rest in peace,’ JSP Senior VP ,Das added.
