BHUBANESWAR: Irked over her estranged husband, and Kendrapara BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty’s series of video message tarnishing image, Varsha Priyadarshini, broke her silence in style and lodged an FIR against the MP. Varsha Priyadarshini has lodged a complaint with Cuttack’s Puri Ghat Police Station against her husband Actor-MP Mohanty.
In her complaint, Varsha strongly condemned her husband’s act of uploading videos on YouTube making biased statements about their relationship and creating unnecessary controversy while the matter is pre-judice. She also demanded strict action against Anubhav for such an act.
Varsha alleged that Anubhav has been assassinating her character by making such videos viral and giving untasteful comments. She also accused the actor of mentally harassing her.
Notably, the actor-turned-politician, Anubhav Mohanty, uploaded two videos on May 19 and 21. In the videos, which are now going viral on social media platforms, the Parliamentarian has held his wife Varsha responsible for their estranged marital relationship.
Meanwhile, in two of its released video messages in past couple of days, it seems, Kendrapara BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty, standing in No Man’s World and fishing in trouble waters that runs from Purighat Police Station to Delhi High Court over his marital discord with his estranged wife Varsha Priyadarshini
Not a single BJD leader express his sympathy for Mohanty rather, Party colleague and Kendrapara observer Debashis Samantray not missed to blame the MP for his absence during last Panchayat and ZP polls.
Actor-turned-MP Anubhav Mohanty has posted another video on the ongoing strife in his personal life with actress wife Varsha Priyadarshini on Saturday evening.
In the video, Anubhav Mohanty holds Varsha responsible for their martial dispute and said that, “I was the first one to file a petition for divorce in Delhi in July 2020. My only reason for filing the divorce as cited in the petition was ‘non-consummation of marriage’. Even after 8 years of marriage, my life partner didn’t give me the rights that I deserve being a husband.”
He further added, that he got married in the 2014 and before that from 2008 he was in relationship with the actress. He pleads the actress to give him divorce and allow to remain in peace in life.
Earlier on May 19, Mohanty had released a video on social media in which he broke down and poured his heart out over his failed marriage with the actress.
At the end of the video, the actor has also written: “A must watch video to know the truth or the untold reality behind the marital discord between Anubhav Mohanty and Varsha Priyadarshini!.
In the video, Anubhav said choosing life partner was the only mistake he committed and it has ruined his life. He said he fell in love in 2008 and loved her most in the world. And after six years of courtship, they finally got married.
He made the statement without mentioning any name, but the indication was clearly to his wife Varsha whom he married in 2014.
It is worth mentioning that the BJD MP was excluded from the list of party’s star campaigners for Pipili bypoll. His name is also missing from the recently released list of BJD’s campaigners for the Brajarajnagar bypoll.
