BHUBANESWAR: IGP (Prisons) Arun Kumar Ray on Monday said that after suicide bid by AT Group chief Pradeep Sethi, Jharpada Special Jail Superintendent Rabindranath Swain has lodged a case with Laxmisagar police station against Sethi.
“Pradip Sethi had attempted to commit suicide by slashing his wrist at around 9.30 pm on Saturday. He had suffered a minor injury on his hand. The jail medical officer has submitted a report in this regard,” Ray said.
Sethi had threatened to commit suicide. It is a cognizable offence under law. So, the jail authorities have filed a case against him,” he added.
