Jhar Mineral Resources Pvt Ltd Emerges Top Bidder for Odisha’s Rampia – Dip Side of Rampia Coal Block

    BHUBANESWAR:  Jhar Mineral Resources Private Limited has bid highest premium (9.50%) for Rampia & Dip Side of Rampia in Sundargarh in Odisha in the auction held on Tuesday. The coal block has Geological Reserves of 1179.41 (MT) and PRC of 15.00 (mtpa).

    Terri Mining Private Limited bid highest for Jitpur coal block in Jharkhand while Sobhagya Mercantile Limited for Marki Mangli-IV coal block in Maharashtra.

    Madhya Bharat Minerals Private Limited for Sursa coal block in Chhattisgarh, Avassa Ferro Alloys Private Limited for Dahegaon/Makardhokra-IV coal block in Maharashtra, Gangaramchak Mining Private Limited for Basantpur  coal block in Jharkhand and Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited for Bandha North in Madhya Pradesh, have merged as top bidders.

    The Nominated Authority, Ministry of Coal conducted e-auction of eight coal mines. Five coal mines are fully explored and three mines are partially explored mines. The total geological reserves for these eight coal mines are 2157.48 Million Tonnes (MT)Cumulative Peak Rate Capacity (PRC) for these coal mines is 19.31 million ton per annum.
