JEYPORE/KORAPUT: Jeypore Municipality has decided to intensify its eviction drive in the urban areas here to ensure smooth flow of traffic and to prevents accident’s in the first day the Unauthorised encroachment in the road side at KBSD road back side of jagannath temple and MG road near police out post and bell road has been carried out with the town police jeypore.
Executive officer Sidharth Patnaik said people have been informed regularly not to encroach the Municipality roads and not to dump construction materials still people are dumping as Jeypore is the commercial hub many people are travelling from different places and everytime commuters are stuck in traffic so in view to maintain a safe road for commuters such eviction will be carried in regular basis.
Patnaik also said a lot of development activities in and around are been carried by the Municipality he requested the public to voluntarily give up he also said letters to be issued to the commercial buildings renting out big establishments without proper parking facility and requested the denizens to participate in the development and beautification of the jeypore town.
