BHUBANESWAR/GUWAHATI: BJP National VP In-charge of Assam and Delhi, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda on Thursday morning joined Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and Party’s Election Observer for Assam, Narendra Singh Tomar to offer prayers at Maa Kamakhya Devi Temple seeking Party’s Mision 100 Plus in coming Assembly polls.
“Participated in a long-promised puja at Guwahati’s iconic Ma Kamakhya Devi temple, & thereafter welcomed & had a brief chat with union minister Narendra Singh Tomar Ji, who had also come to the temple. Tomar Ji is also the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ‘s Election Prabhari for Assam & we have a packed schedule of meetings & events here.#Mission100Plus,BJP Assam Pradesh,” Baijayant Panda, a 4th times former MP said.
Jay Panda has been camping at Assam and travelling across the State to monitor poll preparations of BJP for the March-April battle. Panda is regularly briefing political developments of Assam to Party’s National chief JP Nadda and General secretary (Organization) BL Santosh. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah trying hard to retain Assam, Baijayant Panda, according to sources in BJP, missing no stone unturned to fulfil the expectations of BJP top brasses.
