NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National Vice-president and Spokesperson Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda has met Union Railways, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goel in New Delhi and discussed various issues with him.
Panda, a 4th times former MP in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha , also requested Union Minister Goel to expedite the Paradip-Haridaspur Railway like that connects Kendrapara district, the only district in Coastal Odisha sans Railway connection.
Panda during his term as Lok Sabha MP representing Kendrapara from 2009 to 2019, made tremendous efforts for Railway connection and finally it has materialised.
“Had a very cordial meeting with my good friend, colleague, & dynamic minister of both Railways and Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal We caught up on various issues. I am confident his efforts will lead to very positive developments in crucial parts of the economy,” twitted Panda.
