RAJKANIKA/KENDRAPARA (ODISHA): In a befitting and timely reply to his critics, those who are vying for his bloods and alleging about a rift in BJP following the OTV tussle involving Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his model turned entrepreneur wife, Jagi Panda, BJP National VP and 4times former Parliamentarian, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda, who is enjoying the wishes of Saffron establishment top brasses, was on Saturday ventured into Battle Balasore and held impressive road shows that followed Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s public meetings ahead of November 3 crucial bypolls.
Jay Panda, who is a well known face in flood prone Balasore, as earlier on several occasions, the BJP National VP had made several surprise air sorties with relief materials during floods and reached out the locals, flanked by Union MoS for Animal Husbandry, Dairy & Fisheries, and MSME Pratap Sarangi and former Chief Minister Giridhari Gamango with Party’s candidate Manas Kumar Dutta, son of late BJP MLA Madam Dutta urged people to vote for development and give a right reply to poor governance of BJD.
“The overwhelmed support to Jay Panda’s rally clearly speaking that everything is fine in BJP and the National VP enjoying confidence and support of all most all Karyakartas in Balasore and in entire State of Odisha,” a senior BJP leader stationed at the poll bound district, told over phone. “Some pro Government media houses had earlier started speculating that Jay Panda facing isolation within the BJP after his continuous rift with Naveen Patnaik and the latest Bahamas Shell Companies link but the fact was that he was busy at Manipur for by polls that will see 10 seats there going for voting and was campaigning there with local Chief Minister Biren Singh, Party’s National General Secretary Dilip Saikia,” BJP sources argued.
“I am overwhelmed by the support shown by the people of Odisha towards me and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Today I along with MoS for Animal Husbandry, Dairy & Fisheries, and MSME Pratap Sarangi Ji, and BJP candidate Manas Kumar Dutta held a roadshow campaign for the upcoming assembly by-polls to be held on Nov 3rd. The response from the crowd showed that people are definitely with the Party and the candidate. After the roadshow, partook lunch at the home of one of our karyakartha and interacted with his beautiful family,” Jay Panda said.
BJP VP Jay Panda and his family run IMFA Group and OTV Network have been under the radar of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik since he left BJD before the 2019 general polls. Till date, BJD Supremo and his two most trusted political and bureaucrat lieutenants read 5T Secretary VK Pandian and BJD General secretary(organisation) who is also Jajpur MLA and ‘Minister Maker’, Pranab Prakash Das alias Baby missing no stone unturned to grill Jay and Jagi in Odisha.
Journalists those are working with OTV are frequently hitting headlines for wrong or right reasons and leaving the organisation fearing Government and police onslaught as their boss continued to shared a very attacking relationship with Naveen Patnaik administration in Odisha that mostly run by selected IAS and IPS officers mostly from Non-Odia origin and getting huge backing from several well known mines mafias, mostly facing Supreme Court onslaughts, working under Joda-Koira-Sukinda-Rairangpur mining circles of State’s Keonjhar-Sundargarh-Mayurbhanj and Jajpur. Odisha Police’s Crime Branch is probing a land scam issue involving Panda family run TV channel while his remarks on Odisha comparing with that of Pakistan was also under scanner of several BJD MPs like Dr Sasmit Patra, Anubhav Mohanty and Amar Patnaik.
