Jatni PS Case No- 128, five accused arrested, know details

BHUBANESWAR:  Jatni PS Case No- 128, Dt- 28.03.2024, U/s- 399/402 IPC/ Sec 3/4 E.S Act.PO: Isolated Place, Pani Tanki field, Near Panchayat High School, Benapanjuri, PS- Jatni, BBSR UPD.

Gist of the Case:

On dated 28.03.2024 at about 1.10 A.M, during night patrolling the complainant SI Sasmita Sahoo of Jatni PS received information a group of person armed with deadly weapons were assembled in an isolated abandoned place at an isolated place, near Panchayat High School, Benapanjuri engaging with a hot discussion and were planning to commit dacoity from the loaded vehicles who are coming into Khordha, Jatni and Pipli area showing sword, Iron Rod and trowing bombs.

On receipt of information, SI Sasmita Saoo along with her team conducted raid and apprehended five persons with five live bombs, sword, iron rod, three M/Cs and one Scorpio, two persons managed to escape.

As they committed offence U/s- 399/402 IPC/ Sec 3/4 E.S Act for the purpose of making preparation of committing dacoity and their arrest became needful to keep public peace and tranquility. They were arrested and will be forwarded to Hon’ble Court today.
