IPS Officers’ Association condole the death of former IPS Officer KM Lal

CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR:  The members of the IPS Association (Odisha Branch) have been shocked by the sad demise of Shri K.M Lal, retired IPS Officer of 1968 batch of Odisha Cadre. A condolence meeting in this regard was held today under the Chairmanship of Shri Sunil Kumar Bansal, IPS, DGP, Odisha. The members present in the meeting offered floral tribute to the departed soul. One minute silence was observed by the members.

 The association members also expressed their heartfelt grief and solace to the family members of Late Shri K.M Lal. Shri Lal had served in various capacities in the State of Odisha and Govt. of India. He was not only an extremely efficient Police Officer but also a person with true professional acumen.           

Senior IPS Officers of Odisha including Shri Vinaytosh Mishra, IPS, Director, SCRB, Shri Sanjeeb Panda, IPS, ADG, Crime Branch, Shri Y. K. Jethwa, IPS, Director, Vigilance, Shri S.K. Priyadarshi, IPS, Commissioner of Police, BBSR-CTC, Shri Amitendra Nath Sinha, IPS , IGP, CID-CB, Shri Amitabh Thakur, IPS, IGP, Operations, Shri S. Praveen Kumar, IPS , IGP (Pers.), Shri Anup Kumar Sahoo, IPS, DIG, Intelligence, Shri Prateek Singh, IPS, DCP, Cuttack, Prahalad Sahai Meena, IPS, AIG, Hqrs. and others senior police officers were present in the meeting. This Condolence Meeting was coordinated by the Secretary of IPS Association, Shri S.K. Priyadarshi, IPS.
