IOCL-BPCL-HPCL appeals general public to stay at Home

BHUBANESWAR: Oil Marketing Companies like IOCL, BPCL and HPCL under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has appealed general public to stay at home and support Government’s initiative to fight back COVID-19.

The OMCs said that beneficiaries under PM Ujjwala have started getting their free cylinders and it will be given for 3 months from April 1 to June 30.

The OMCs are transferring the full RSP of cylinders in advance to the linked bank account of Ujjwala beneficiaries. A  PM Ujjwala beneficiary will get 1 cylinder per month. Steps have been taken for interrupted supply of gas cylinder throughout the State.

Pradhan Mantri Garib KalyanYojana scheme for the PMUY beneficiaries included 3 refills for 14.2 kg cylinders and advance Retail Selling Price being transferred by OMCs to the PMUY customer’s bank account, which can be withdrawn to obtain the refill from the distributor.

PNG Ministry sources said as many as 15 port terminals, 195 LPG bottling plants and the transportation network are currently operating everyday despite lockdown, thus ensuring sufficient availability and uninterrupted supplies of LPG products in the country.

More than 60 lakhs cylinders are being delivered every day and this would not have been possible without the relentless efforts of our DNOs and the dedication of our distributors and LPG delivery boys.
