BHUBANESWAR:The Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), run by the Education and Research (E&R) of the University of Bhubaneswar, organized the ‘MARK-IT: Marketing Fair 1.0 -2026’ business fair on Wednesday at Campus 2.
On this occasion, Vice President of SOAR, Mrs. Shashwati Das, graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the program. While inaugurating the event, Mrs. Das said that this fair is a unique effort to encourage not only studies but also how students can unleash their hidden talents. Mrs. Das said that this is the first time that IBCS has organized it. She said that through such efforts, the students can unleash their innovative ideas and artistic skills. If such a business fair is organized every year, the students will benefit a lot in the future, said Mrs. Das.
On this occasion, SOA Vice Chancellor Professor Pradeep Kumar Nanda joined and said that such business fairs will attract students towards marketing. The Vice Chancellor hoped that through this, students will be able to acquire all the knowledge and skills of marketing.
SOA Vice-Chancellor Professor Anup Kumar Samantray, Dean of IBCS Professor (Dr) Ayakant Mohanty, SOA Dean of Student Affairs Professor Jyoti Ranjan Das, and Associate Dean of IBCS Professor Manoranjan Das were prominently present.
As 63 stalls were organized in this business fair, including various types of food, medical, handloom, feminine hygiene products, and automobiles, Ms. Das toured these stalls and encouraged the students.The business fair was organized by Associate Professor (Dr.) Sarju Prasad and Assistant Professor (Dr.) Neha Gupta of IBCS.
