BHUBANESWAR: “Innovative entrepreneurship will boost the Make in India initiative. Besides, it will also create a conducive environment for Indian industries to provide employment to the young and educated masses”, said Dr. Tapan Kuman Chand, CMD, Nalco.
He was inaugurating the 2-day national conference on ‘Make in India: Opportunities & Challenges for Managers’, organized at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTEC), at Bhubaneswar, on 15th & 16th July. The success of Make in India shall greatly impact newer initiatives like ‘Skill India’, ‘Start-up India’ and ‘Digital India’, resulting in about 90 million jobs in near future, out of which manufacturing industries will top the employment chart, said Dr. Chand.
Among others, Prof. Banikanta Mishra of XIMB, Prof. Parameswar Nayak, Director, BIMTECH, Rajendra Bose, Director, ICAI and Dr. B.K. Das, Director of Birla Global Institute were notably present on the occasion.
