BHUBANESWAR: The Principal Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department Mr Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director Mr Saroj Kumar Samal and other senior officers were on Thursday met Odisha Chief Minister Mr Mohan Charan Majhi at State Guest House here.
Secretary Mr Singh and Director Mr Samal and other senior officers briefed about departmental procedures to CM Mr Majhi.
In the discussion, measures to be taken for the welfare of journalists including filling up of various vacant posts in the department, budgetary arrangements, further improvement of district level offices, social media and other important issues were discussed.
In the new government represented as the people’s government and the people’s Chief Minister, Chief Minister Mr Majhi gave importance to the delivery of various development programs to the people and advised the department officials to improve their professional skills. The Chief Minister Mr Majhi laid emphasis on filling up the vacant posts at the earliest.
