BHUBANESWAR:    Ahead of February 9 Barabati Encounter between India and England in Cuttack, Odisha Cricket Association on Wednesday reached out to Chief Minister Mr Mohan Charan Majhi and invited him to attend the day-night One –Day International Cricket Match.

OCA Working President and Eminent Odia Industrialist, Mr Pankaj Lochan Mohanty along with Secretary Mr Sanjay Behera met CM Mr Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan and handed over first ticket to him.

OCA Apex Council Member Pratap Pradhan, Odisha Olympic Association Secretary Abhijit Pal and other office bearers of OCA were among those present during the meeting.

This ODI series will serve as a crucial warm-up for the Champions Trophy, which is set to begin on February 19 in Pakistan and Dubai. As many as 44,524 spectators will sit and watch the game in Barabati Stadium.
