BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday said, BJD is always with people of Odisha and to BJD became a social movement. CM Patnaik said while inaugurating BJD’s new State Party Office, Shankha Bhawan on occasion of Akshay Tritiya. Sankha Bhawan will be loved by 4.5 Crore Odias.
Sankha Bhawan will work for Odisha’s development and pride and it will also work for promotion of rich cultural heritage. “This Sankha Bhawan is an inspiration source for Odisha and continues to work for Odisha.
CM Patnaik while addressing party leaders and workers said, “A new era had begun in Odisha in the year 1997 with birth of the Biju Janata Dal from principles of legendary leader late Biju Patnaik. The BJD, which was formed as the regional party to serve people of Odisha, has now been transformed into a social revolution.”
The BJD’s new Headquarters’ 3-storey building is having 30 rooms, located at Unit-6 area (Forest Park area) in Bhubaneswar.
Party president and CM Naveen Patnaik will issue order to his partymen from his office in the third floor of the newly reconstructed building.
The bungalow included conference hall in the Air Condition-equipped first floor with the capacity of 2000 people, a 250-seat huge auditorium and a canteen. The first floor also has a press conference hall having enough space for media persons.
Party leaders will have their offices in second floor. The IT Cell will also be operated from this floor.
